Utah Autism and ABA Resources
Utah Medicaid covers ABA for eligible children, and the Wasatch Front (Salt Lake City, Ogden, Provo) has a solid concentration of providers. The Utah Autism Coalition is an active statewide advocacy organization, and Baby Watch Utah is the state's early intervention program. Rural Utah, including southern and eastern communities, has limited in-person ABA access.

Early intervention in Utah (ages 0–3)
Baby Watch Early Intervention
If your child is under 3, Utah families may qualify for free early intervention services through Baby Watch Early Intervention. Services can include speech therapy, developmental support, and behavior support at no cost, even before a formal diagnosis. Utah OSEP State Lead
Once your child turns 3, services shift from early intervention to the public school system under IDEA Part B. Your state's OSEP State Lead oversees special education implementation, including IEPs and school-based support, across Utah.
