Ohio Autism and ABA Resources
Ohio Medicaid covers ABA for eligible children, and Ohio is home to OCALI (Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence), a statewide resource that provides free training, guides, and consultation to families, educators, and providers. Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Akron have strong provider networks. Ohio's Help Me Grow early intervention program operates across all 88 counties.

Help Me Grow
If your child is under 3, Ohio families may qualify for free early intervention services through Help Me Grow. Services can include speech therapy, developmental support, and behavior support at no cost, even before a formal diagnosis. Ohio OSEP State Lead
Once your child turns 3, services shift from early intervention to the public school system under IDEA Part B. Your state's OSEP State Lead oversees special education implementation, including IEPs and school-based support, across Ohio.
